Indian indices opened flat with positive bias on December 26 amid mixed global cues.
The Sensex was up 0.03 points or 0.00 percent at 71,106.99, and the Nifty was up 8.10 points or 0.04 percent at 21,357.50. About 1853 shares advanced, 670 shares declined, and 166 shares unchanged.
UPL, Tata Steel, Tata Consumer Products, NTPC and Britannia Industries were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, TCS and HCL Technologies.
